The US maker's new mid-size motorcycle is built around India's revised GST rate for bikes up to 350 cc; its price and India launch date are not yet announced.
American motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has unveiled its new Harley-Davidson X350T at EICMA 2026. The bike has been designed to benefit from India's revised GST rate on motorcycles of up to 350 cc. It comes with a 350 cc engine, a trellis frame, USD front suspension, riding modes and traction control. Built with the Indian market at its centre, it could create fresh competition in the mid-size motorcycle segment.
Following the change in the GST structure, motorcycles of up to 350 cc in India attract 18% GST, while bikes with engine capacity above 350 cc are charged 40%. For this reason, motorcycle makers are bringing out new models by altering engine capacity. Bajaj Auto has also introduced 350 cc versions of some KTM and Triumph motorcycles. Harley-Davidson has now entered the same segment with the X350T. Because of the 18% GST, its price is likely to stay competitive for Indian customers.
On design, the X350T's styling is inspired by flat-track motorcycles. Like the earlier X440T, it has a sporty look. Checkered graphics, a trellis frame and USD front suspension are its signature features. The company has built the chassis so that the bike is easy to handle at low speeds, stays stable on the highway and offers a comfortable ride.
Its features include an electronic throttle body, selectable riding modes, switchable ABS and traction control. The electronic throttle allows features such as riding modes and traction control to be managed. The company says the engine's torque is the best in its segment, but it has not disclosed the exact figure. The bike has been tuned to Indian road conditions and complies with BS6 OBD2P2 norms.
At the same EICMA 2026, Harley-Davidson also presented the Sprint 440, built in partnership with Hero MotoCorp. It has a 440 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 27 hp of power and 38 Nm of torque. The bike will launch in the US in spring 2027, while it is likely to arrive in India in the next few months. The X350T may take its place in the company's motorcycle portfolio alongside the X440T and X440S. Its price and India launch date have not yet been announced.
