Clear, dry weather forecast across Maharashtra from November 9 to 11; nights to turn cooler

The November chill is gradually setting in across the state. The weather department has issued a new forecast for the three days from November 9 to 11. Skies are very likely to remain mostly clear and the weather dry over Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada in the coming days. No rain is expected during this period.

On November 9, 10 and 11, three days in a row, the weather will remain largely clear in all districts of Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. No major change in the weather of these regions is expected on any of the three days. Clear skies will bring good sunshine during the day and pleasant conditions.

On daytime temperatures, the forecast says there will be no major change in the maximum temperature in Maharashtra over the next four to five days. In neighbouring Gujarat too, the maximum temperature will remain steady for the next four to five days, with no big fluctuation expected. Daytime temperatures will therefore not rise or fall much.

Though daytime temperatures will hold steady, nights and mornings are likely to turn colder. According to the weather department, the minimum temperature in Maharashtra will fall gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next four to five days. The drop will bring the first hint of a mild winter chill to the state, and people will begin to feel the cold. In Gujarat, no major change in the minimum temperature is recorded for the next seven days.

Clear weather will help farmers complete farm work with ease. Health experts are also advising people, especially young children and the elderly, to take care of their health as night temperatures fall. The coming days in the state are expected to be pleasant.
