IMD forecasts thunder and light to moderate rain in south Konkan-Goa, south Central Maharashtra on Oct 24

Maharashtra's weather is changing once again. Minimum temperatures in some parts of the state have been recorded above average. In the past few days, the minimum temperature in some parts of Central Maharashtra has risen well above normal.

Minimum temperatures have also risen slightly to considerably in parts of Konkan, Goa and Vidarbha, while at some places they stayed close to the average. People are now watching the weather department's forecast for the coming days.

According to the weather department, the weather will change on October 24 in districts of south Konkan-Goa and south Central Maharashtra. Thunder and lightning are expected at some places, and light to moderate rain has also been forecast.

Strong winds of 30 to 40 km/h are very likely during this period, and people in these areas have been advised to be careful. Parts of Konkan-Goa are also very likely to continue to see hot and humid weather.

On October 25, skies may remain partly cloudy in districts of Konkan-Goa, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. The cloud cover may bring a slight dip in temperatures or a mixed effect.

Region-wise, dry weather is likely on October 24 in all four regions: Konkan, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. Dry weather has also been forecast for all four regions on October 25.

On October 26, dry weather is likely in Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. Rain may fall at some places in Vidarbha. In the three-day outlook, rain is thus mentioned for Vidarbha only on October 26.
