Maharashtra to see dry, clear weather for three days; humid, light rain in Konkan-Goa on October 23

The intensity of rain in the state is gradually easing. The weather department has forecast that skies will remain mainly clear and the weather dry in most areas over the next three days. The administration has asked people to take note of this change in the weather.

However, on October 23 the weather may be hot and humid in parts of Konkan-Goa and South Central Maharashtra. Light rain or thunder is possible at isolated places in these areas.

Looking more closely at the forecast for October 23, hot and humid conditions are very likely in parts of Konkan-Goa. In districts of South Konkan-Goa and South Central Maharashtra, light rain or rain with thunder may fall at some places. In districts of North Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada, skies are expected to remain mostly clear.

In the division-wise forecast, the weather is expected to stay dry on October 23 in Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. Vidarbha will also stay dry, but thunder with lightning is possible at some places there.

On October 24, sunny skies are very likely in districts of Konkan-Goa, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. According to the division-wise forecast, the weather will be dry that day in all four regions: Konkan, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha.

The picture is the same for October 25. Sunshine is very likely in districts of Konkan-Goa, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. Dry weather is expected that day too in Konkan, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha.

On the whole, rain is unlikely in most parts of the state on all three days. Only on October 23 are humid conditions with light rain or thunder mentioned for southern Konkan-Goa and South Central Maharashtra, and lightning is possible at some places in Vidarbha.
