Amitabh Bachchan greets fans from glass cabin outside Jalsa, Abhishek by his side

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan meets his admirers every Sunday, a practice that has continued for many years. Every Sunday, a large crowd of fans gathers outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa, hoping to catch a glimpse of Big B.

The scene on Sunday, November 1, was different. This time Bachchan was seen greeting fans from inside a transparent glass security cabin. The glass is said to be bulletproof. For security reasons, he stood behind this glass enclosure instead of in the open. From inside the cabin, he folded his hands in his characteristic style and accepted the fans' good wishes. A video of the occasion is being widely discussed on social media.

Notably, his son Abhishek Bachchan was also present outside Jalsa for his father's security. He stood nearby as Amitabh greeted the fans. In the video, he is seen greeting fans while also keeping watch on the surrounding area. Security personnel deployed outside Jalsa were seen managing the crowd.

Amitabh Bachchan had recently spoken about health problems. Around the same time, it was reported that Jalsa had received a bomb attack threat. A threatening email had arrived after the alleged attack on Tiger Shroff. The email claimed that on October 31, the Mumbai mayor's office, a school and Bachchan's home Jalsa in Bandra would be attacked with grenades.

In view of these threats, Bachchan's security has reportedly been increased. Even so, he did not give up his tradition of meeting fans. Last Sunday, he had met fans without a glass security cabin. This time he greeted them amid heavier security arrangements. For this reason, Bachchan's security and Abhishek's presence are much talked about these days.
