Jio launches Rs 2025 prepaid plan with 200 days validity and 500GB data
Reliance Jio has introduced a Rs 2025 prepaid plan offering 200 days of validity, 500GB of data and extra digital subscriptions.
Telecom companies keep launching new prepaid recharge plans to attract mobile subscribers, offering data, unlimited calling, SMS and OTT subscriptions. But what draws customers the most are plans with longer validity and generous data. Reliance Jio has now launched a prepaid plan priced at Rs 2025 for such customers, offering 200 days of validity, 500GB of data and several other extra benefits.
The biggest feature of the Rs 2025 plan is its 200-day validity and total data allowance of 500GB. The plan allows 2.5GB of high-speed data per day, giving customers enough data for video streaming, social media, online work and other internet use. It also includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. Eligible customers can also get the benefit of Truly Unlimited 5G Data, allowing those with 5G smartphones on Jio's 5G network to use additional data.
Even after the 500GB high-speed data quota is exhausted, internet access does not stop completely. Unlimited data continues at a speed of 64 Kbps, though video streaming or downloading large files may become difficult at this speed.
The plan is not limited to data and calling, but also offers extra benefits on some digital services. For entertainment, it includes a free JioHotstar subscription and access to JioTV. For customers who use technology and AI, it is claimed there is another benefit: an 18-month free Google Gemini Pro Plan. This subscription is said to be worth around Rs 35,100 and is said to include 5,000GB of cloud storage and AI features such as Nano Banana.
Additionally, customers get 50GB of free storage on JioAICloud, and a 12-month free subscription to Canva Pro Lite. This can benefit customers who use cloud storage, AI tools and create digital content.
For those who want longer validity, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) also have various long-term plans, but many of their plans have validity of 84 days or 365 days. Since Jio's Rs 2025 plan offers 200 days of validity and 500GB of data, it stands out as a distinct option for customers looking for a medium-duration recharge.
