The G/North ward of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation held a camp under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' to distribute revenue certificates and register new voters. The camp took place on October 12 on the premises of Kirti M. Doongursee College in Dadar, Mumbai.

The 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' is being run in the state from September 17 to October 17, 2026. Its basic aim is to take the government's various welfare schemes and public services directly and transparently to citizens. Under it, the camp, organised under the guidance of Mumbai City District Collector Anchal Goyal, gave citizens the facility to apply for various revenue certificates and documents.

A total of 37 certificates were distributed at the camp. These included 5 domicile certificates, 10 income certificates, 5 certificates for senior citizens and 5 non-creamy layer certificates. In all, 25 certificates in these four categories were distributed under the campaign. In addition, 12 certificates of other kinds were also distributed.

Citizens were also guided on the online application process and the documents required, through the 'Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra'. Those who came to the camp were told on the spot how to apply online and which documents are needed.

A separate stall for new voter registration was set up for the college's young people. A stall giving information on the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana for destitute people was also set up. Citizens and students were also informed about domicile certificates, caste certificates and the benefits of various government schemes.

Sub-Divisional Officer Balasaheb Tidke, Kirti College Vice-Principal Mahajan, Tehsildar Sanket Yamgar and Naib Tehsildar Prabhakar Naik were present at the event. Certificates were symbolically handed over to a few beneficiaries by the dignitaries. Citizens were urged to make the fullest use of government services and schemes.

Overall, the camp offered citizens and the college's students applications for certificates, new voter registration and information on government schemes, all in one place.
