Pune Metro Line 3 to run till 11:30 pm on Diwali, Sunday, after reversing earlier plan to cut services

Pune, November 7, 2026: Pune Metro Line 3 will run on its regular daily schedule on Diwali, Sunday, November 8. Services will be available from 6 am to 11:30 pm that day.

The Metro Line 3 administration had earlier decided to curtail services. It has now reversed that decision and chosen to keep the normal timings, keeping passengers' convenience in mind.

The administration has also appealed to citizens not to burst firecrackers near the Metro viaduct and the elevated Metro corridor, in the interest of public safety.

Passengers and citizens have also been asked to extend full cooperation to officials so that Metro operations remain safe and smooth during the Diwali celebrations.
