Maharashtra board sets 2027 exam dates: HSC from February 8, SSC from February 15

Pune, November 7, 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the final timetable for the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board examinations to be held in February-March 2027. The Class 12 written examinations will begin on February 8, while the Class 10 examinations will begin on February 15.

According to the schedule the board released on November 6, the HSC written examinations will run from February 8 to March 18, 2027. The SSC examinations will be held from February 15 to March 15, 2027.

Practical and oral examinations will be held before the written examinations. Internal assessment and grade examinations will also be conducted in the same period. For Class 12 students, these will be held between January 20 and February 6, 2027. For SSC students, they will run from January 28 to February 13.

The full subject-wise timetable, giving the day and time of each paper, has been available since November 6 on the board's official website, www.mahahsscboard.in.

The examinations will be conducted through the board's nine divisional offices, located in Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.

The board has clarified that the timetable on the website is for information only. Students have been asked to check their examination dates against the printed timetable given by their secondary school, higher secondary school or junior college. The printed timetable issued through these institutions will be treated as final.

The board has also cautioned students and parents not to rely on schedules circulating on unauthorised websites, with other agencies, or on WhatsApp and similar social media platforms. According to the board, such schedules will not be considered valid.

Students appearing for the Maharashtra SSC and HSC board examinations 2027 have been advised to check the official website and confirm the examination schedule at their school or college.
