A motorcyclist died after a collision between a truck and a bike near Limb village on the Satara-Pune-Bengaluru National Highway. Local residents have alleged that the biker lost his life because an ambulance and medical help did not reach him in time after the accident.

According to the information available, the collision took place within the limits of Limb village on the highway. The impact was so severe that the biker fell on the road and was seriously injured. More than half an hour passed after the accident, yet neither the highway police nor an emergency ambulance had reached the spot.

People nearby rushed to the spot immediately and tried to save the injured man. However, proper medical help was not available at the site, and their efforts were of no use. Local residents say the poor functioning of the official machinery has once again come to light.

The government ambulance reached the spot very late. The first hour after an accident, known as the "Golden Hour", is considered extremely important for treatment. But no help arrived in that time, and the injured biker died in agony at the spot.

Angry residents of the Limb area have strongly criticised the highway police and the ambulance service administration. Accidents have been occurring on this highway over the past few days. A serious question has now arisen over whether the injured are getting treatment in time.

Residents are demanding that police and ambulance arrangements on the highway be such that help reaches immediately in case of an accident, so that no one else has to lose their life in this way.
