Sheraton Grand Pune hosts mahjong and yum cha evening on October 24

Pune, October 22, 2026: Mahjong is enjoying a big craze across India these days. With this in mind, the Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel has planned an evening of yum cha, mahjong tiles and strategy. The evening will offer food and drink along with the fun of a game, all in one place.

The way people drink tea in India is changing steadily, and the customs of tea time are taking on a new shape with the times. The Cantonese tradition of yum cha gives this custom a fresh twist by serving a variety of dishes in small plates alongside tea.

The menu includes dishes such as poached pork, crab meat XO, water chestnut and smoked beetroot, crystal dumplings, spicy hoisin duck bao and truffle wild mushroom bao.
