Shahupuri: Both Mahayuti candidates in the Pune division graduates and teachers constituencies will win by big margins, Public Works Minister Shivendrasinhraje Bhosale has said. He spoke to reporters after visiting a polling station and claimed a win for the Mahayuti.
His statement has heightened public curiosity about the political equations after the polling. All eyes are on the results of the two seats.
He said graduate and teacher voters in Satara district showed good enthusiasm in voting. According to him, the election process is going on peacefully. He also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, the two Mahayuti candidates will do good work.
Opposition parties, along with the Mahayuti, are watching the polls in these two constituencies of the Pune division. It will be important to see how the turnout among teacher and graduate voters, the response the candidates received and the preparations of the various political parties affect the outcome.
In Satara district, 89.39 per cent voted in the teachers constituency and 66.92 per cent in the graduates constituency. Given the higher participation of teacher voters and the graduates' turnout, political circles are speculating about the results in both constituencies.
