YouTuber and social media influencer Ashvi Yadav, alias Shivangi Yadav, has gone missing from her home after posting on Instagram: "How much more can I bear, I can no longer bear this, injustice is being done to me." She is said to have locked the house and left. Police are searching for her.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against seven people, including her, for extorting Rs 1,75,68,683 and demanding Rs 5 crore more.

According to police, a case of extortion and blackmail has been registered against seven people, including Ashvi Yadav alias Shivangi Yadav, Neetu Singh Yadav, Shivam Yadav, Geetanjali Jadaun and Abhishek Yadav. The accused are alleged to have threatened to make the complainant's private photographs public on social media. The complaint states that, using this threat, a total of Rs 1,75,68,683 was extorted between April 2024 and May 2026, through various bank accounts and in cash.

The allegations do not end there. According to the complaint, a further Rs 58 lakh was demanded on November 15, 2025. Abhishek Yadav then demanded another Rs 50 lakh. It is stated that the complainant was threatened with being framed in a false rape case if he did not pay.

The complaint also alleges that on September 3, 2026, at around 7.30 pm, two unidentified men on a motorcycle without a number plate stopped the complainant's car near the Jhinduwa bridge in the Bharthana area. They allegedly demanded Rs 5 crore in extortion money and threatened to kill him. The case was registered at Bharthana police station on the complaint of Ashutosh alias Tonu Yadav.

After the case was registered, Ashvi Yadav posted several Instagram stories levelling serious allegations against the police. She claims she reached on time to record her statement, but her statement was not taken and a false extortion case was framed against her. She alleged that the station house officer concerned is also involved in the matter and that the FIR was registered after money changed hands. She said she is not getting justice and demanded a fair investigation.

Police have begun searching for Ashvi after she left her home. The other accused in the case are also being traced, and police have launched a special drive for this. Whether the allegations Ashvi Yadav has made against the police will also be investigated, and what the truth behind the extortion allegations is, will become clear only after the investigation.
