Woman on scooter escapes unhurt after sand-laden truck hits her in Shrirampur, video goes viral
A young woman riding a scooter was thrown onto the front of a truck in Shrirampur in Ahilyanagar and climbed down without injury, a video shows.
A video of a road accident has gone viral on social media, showing a young woman escaping with her life in what viewers have called a filmy-style escape.
The incident is said to have occurred in Shrirampur in Ahilyanagar. In the video, a scooter is seen moving at high speed on a road when a truck approaches from the other side. The scooter was on the straight road, while the truck was entering the main road from a side road.
Both vehicles were moving fast, and neither the scooter rider nor the truck driver could brake. The two vehicles collided with force. On impact, the woman was thrown up from the scooter into the air and landed on the front of the truck, where she hung on. She then got down safely onto the road and was not hurt.
A crowd gathered on the road after the accident, and some people recorded the scene on their phone cameras. The video was shared on X by an account with the handle @atuljmd123. The post says a speeding truck loaded with sand hit the scooter hard on Belapur Road in Shrirampur and the young woman riding it had a narrow escape.
The video is being widely discussed on the internet and users are sharing it rapidly. Many have posted comments.
One user wrote that the truck driver should be punished or have his licence cancelled, and asked how he could drive a truck at such speed at a one-way turn. Another wrote that it was clearly the truck driver's fault. Another wrote, "Wow, what agility, she saved herself."
