Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar also said the BJP knows how to serve its own interest by sowing discord and lying, and defended Rahul Gandhi.

Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has said that some leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party have their hands under a stone. According to him, some NCP leaders may be taking such a stand so that they do not end up in jail. Wadettiwar said Sharad Pawar's role cannot be like that.

On Sharad Pawar, Wadettiwar said he has made a big contribution in the social and several other fields and is known as a leader of progressive thought. According to him, there are certain relationships in which meetings and conversations continue. He said Modi phoned Pawar to ask about his health. At that time, Modi said, "You rest, we will take care of Delhi." Wadettiwar asked whether this meant that Pawar should rest, and said that meaning can also be drawn from it.

On Ajit Pawar's party, Wadettiwar said two factions have formed in it, which is why there appears to be major turmoil. He accused the BJP of knowing well how to serve its own interest by setting people against each other and lying. He said that even if both of Pawar's parties come together, he does not think they would go with the Mahayuti.

On Rahul Gandhi, Wadettiwar said that "Jannayak" Rahul Gandhi has forced the BJP onto the streets. According to him, even while in power, they have to come out on the streets to play a role in saving democracy. He said that despite having everything in their hands, Rahul Gandhi is being put in the dock. Wadettiwar said that Rahul Gandhi, whose forefathers' thinking gave the country its Constitution and independence, is being called a thief by people who did not take part in the freedom struggle.

On the Gokul matter, Wadettiwar said that disrespecting the mandate by giving nominated members is a mockery of democracy. He said Rahul Gandhi has said that votes were stolen and that he is fighting for his rights. According to Wadettiwar, Rahul Gandhi has issued an open challenge for a public debate on the allegations, but his opponents lack the strength to accept it. He also said people were brought to the rally by being paid two to four hundred rupees, and that their stand was against the government. He said, "We are fighting against the election commissioners, and the BJP, which gave them full legal protection at that time, is now speaking about democracy."

On the control of Gokul, Wadettiwar said he has taken the advice of senior lawyers. He said many people are of the opinion that what happened in Gokul will not stand in court. He said Gavai has been a Chief Justice. Wadettiwar claimed that three ministers and twelve legislators and MPs were deployed, and that after failing through the front door, an attempt to gain power through the back window is under way. According to him, if the quorum is not complete at the first meeting, a chairperson can be chosen with "1 plus", and that has nothing to do with this. Wadettiwar said the Mahayuti has made a big push for power in Gokul.
