As the investigation into the firing on actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai's Juhu area progresses, new details are emerging. The Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered two pistols from Surat in Gujarat. Police suspect these weapons were used in the attack. The recovery has given the probe fresh momentum. Police teams are now searching closely for the actual shooters, the people who supplied the weapons and the other suspects in the case.

According to sources, the accused fled after the firing on October 18 and the weapons were hidden in Surat. Police have not yet given any official information on exactly where, and from whom, the weapons were seized. The weapons will now be sent for forensic examination to check whether the empty cartridge cases and other evidence collected at the spot match them. These weapons had not come into police hands in the earlier investigation.

The scope of the probe has widened. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested four more people involved in supplying weapons. The accused are Kunal (21) and Sumit (19), both residents of Sonipat, Haryana, and Radha and Babita (23), both residents of Uttar Pradesh.

Police suspect that, at the behest of a man named Anil Pandit, Kunal and Sumit were to go to Amritsar to fetch a pistol and 20 cartridges. Radha and Babita were to come to Mumbai to deliver the weapon to the other suspects in the conspiracy.

Earlier, Rehan alias Sukka, Hrithik Kurmi alias Roshan and Phool Singh were arrested from Kota in Rajasthan. The three alleged attackers have been brought to Mumbai, and a Mumbai court has sent them to police custody until October 31. Police are questioning them on the direction of the attack, the route the accused took to flee, what was done with the weapons and whether anyone else was involved.

Police are also collecting CCTV footage and electronic evidence of the journey before and after the incident, and are carrying out a technical investigation. The recovery of the pistols is expected to strengthen the probe.

On October 18, some unidentified attackers fired at Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai's Juhu area and fled on a motorcycle. The actor was reported to have escaped unhurt, but his driver and a passer-by were injured. The attackers had fired several rounds. During the investigation, it was also examined whether a gun had jammed. The motorcycle used in the attack was later seized from Mumbai's Andheri area. The search for the others who helped the accused continues.

The charges against the accused have not yet been proved in court, but police are closely questioning each suspect about their role and the depth of the weapons network.
