Actor Tiger Shroff had a narrow escape in firing in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening. Two people, including his driver, were injured in the attack.

According to the information available, three attackers on a motorcycle fired at Shroff's vehicle. It is said the actor was leaving in his car after playing a football match when unidentified attackers attacked the vehicle and fired repeatedly.

According to Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg, the incident took place at around 7 pm, as Shroff was leaving after playing a football match. The actor's driver, Firdaus, was hurt in the left hand, and one other person was also injured. Both were admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

Shortly after the incident, a post claiming responsibility for the attack began going viral on social media. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to investigate the matter swiftly and take strict action against the guilty.

Shroff is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff. He was born in Mumbai on March 2, 1990, and his real name is Jai Hemant Shroff. The 36-year-old completed his schooling at the American School of Bombay. He enrolled at Amity University for further studies, but did not complete college. It is said that Shroff's interest lay more in martial arts and sport than in studies.

Shroff began learning taekwondo at the age of four. He is reported to have received a black belt in taekwondo in 2014. In the same year he entered films, making his Bollywood debut with Heropanti. He has since worked in many action films.

This is not the first time a star has been targeted in firing. Several other Bollywood figures have faced such attacks this year. In February, shots were fired outside the home of filmmaker Rohit Shetty, and the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for that case. The Bishnoi gang is also said to be behind the attack on Shroff. Firing had also taken place at the Gurugram home of well-known YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
