Tech company Samsung has launched its new smartphone in the Indian market. The company has billed it as a budget-friendly phone and launched it as the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G. The phone has a 50MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery. Sales in India are set to begin soon.

The phone has been launched at a starting price of Rs 17,999, which means it costs less than Rs 20,000. For customers looking for a smartphone with strong features on a budget, the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G could be a good option.

Sales of the phone will begin on October 20. It can be bought from Flipkart and Samsung's official website. It will also be available at major retail stores. It comes in two colours: Vivid Violet and Bold Black.

The display is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

For performance, the company has fitted the Exynos 1330 processor, built on 5nm technology, along with a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. The phone runs One UI 9.5 based on Android 17. It also supports a microSD card, which allows the phone's storage to be expanded.

For photography, the phone has a triple-camera rear setup. The 50MP primary camera supports optical image stabilisation (OIS). It is joined by a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. A 13MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calling. Both cameras can record video at 1080p resolution at 30fps.

The battery is 5000mAh and supports 25W wired charging. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating, which protects against water and dust. Connectivity features include dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port.
