Salman Khan preps 50-day action schedule for 'Monster' on special set at Mira Road studio

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is in the news for his upcoming pan-India action film 'Monster'. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and Salman is putting in special effort for it.

It has emerged that the producers have drawn up a special strategy to make Salman's role in the film more impactful. Under it, Salman is now preparing for a gruelling 50-day shooting schedule for the film's action sequences.

For the action shoot, the producers have put up a special set inside a studio in Mira Road, Mumbai. The film is said to focus on realistic-looking action rather than heavy visual effects. It is therefore expected that audiences will see Salman's powerful and raw side on the big screen.

The main shoot of 'Monster' began in Mumbai in mid-April 2026, after which work picked up pace. This year, the film's team completed a six-week schedule in Goregaon. During this, large-scale action sequences, crowd scenes and scenes shot on a lavish set of an Afghan village were filmed.

It is being said that in the action sequences Salman will be seen taking on his adversaries head-on, which has raised fans' expectations of the film.

Salman is known for his busy schedule. Handling the shoot of the physically demanding action sequences of 'Monster' alongside his responsibilities on 'Bigg Boss 20' is a challenge for him. With 'Bigg Boss 20' on one side and the film's schedule on the other, he will have to balance both. According to available information, the plan is to complete the film's shoot by November 2026.

After the final phase of shooting ends, the film's team will begin post-production. After finishing editing, visual effects and other technical work, 'Monster' is said to be planned for a big-screen release on Eid 2027. Fans are now watching to see when Salman's action film reaches audiences and how powerful his look proves to be.
