Nagpur: Purti Super Bazaar has again brought out a scheme for customers this Diwali, called "Diwali Dhamaka". Run on cooperative lines, the super bazaar has earned the trust of Nagpur residents over the past 26 years. Under the scheme, customers will have a chance to win more than 9,000 prizes.
By offering good-quality goods at reasonable prices, Purti has carved out a distinct place in the minds of Nagpur residents over the past 26 years. Though many large super bazaars have opened in the city, customers' trust and satisfaction remain Purti's identity.
This year's scheme offers many useful items as prizes, including a motorcycle, a washing machine, silver coins and a VIP trolley bag. A customer who shops for Rs 3,499 will get a scratch-and-win coupon. However, those who shop between 12 noon and 4 pm will get the coupon on a purchase of only Rs 2,499.
The bumper lucky draw has three major prizes: a Hero Glamour 125 cc motorcycle, a washing machine and a VIP trolley bag. In addition, special prizes will be given to three lucky winners in a weekly lucky draw held every week. The scheme will run at all Purti Super Bazaar branches from October 21 to November 15, 2026.
To add to the Diwali cheer, a special Diwali festival exhibition has been organised at three branches in Nagpur, at Laxmi Nagar, Manish Nagar and Besa Road, and at the Euriich Mall in Wardha. It has a large range of goods, including colourful rangolis, attractive lamps, akash kandils (festive lanterns), home decor items, high-quality dry fruit boxes, crockery, gift items and ready-made faral (Diwali snacks).
For those who want to prepare faral at home, good-quality groceries are available. Attractive discount schemes have also been announced on various grocery items.
Purti Super Bazaar chairman Ravi Bortakar and secretary Ketaki Gadkari Kaskhedikar appealed to customers at a press conference. They said customers should avail themselves of this special scheme and do all their Diwali shopping at Purti Super Bazaar.
Secretary Ketaki Gadkari Kaskhedikar said that Purti Super Bazaar's mobile app will be launched soon to give customers an easier and more modern service. The app will be available on both Android and iOS platforms. She said this would put Purti's services a click away for customers.
Joint secretary Aniruddha Palkar, directors Nilima Gadhikar and Dhanashree Deshpande, and Sagar Khandelwal, Vivek Tarase and other directors were present at the press conference.
