The India Meteorological Department has issued no rain or thunderstorm alert for any district of Maharashtra on November 6, with dry weather forecast across all five regions.

Weather in Maharashtra is changing these days. Temperatures in the state have been rising for the past two days. Some areas feel a light chill in the morning, but the afternoons turn warm.

The effect of cyclones in the Bay of Bengal has weakened, and the chances of rain in the state have dropped as a result. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued its district-wise forecast for November 6. According to it, the weather may stay dry in all districts of the state. Notably, no alert for rain or thunderstorm with rain has been issued for any district.

In Konkan, dry weather is forecast on November 6 in the six districts of Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. People in Konkan, including Mumbai, may get relief from rain. With temperatures rising for some days, humidity and heat may be felt in the afternoon. A light chill is likely in some places in the morning.

In North Maharashtra, no rain is forecast in Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik and Ahilyanagar districts. The ghat areas of Nashik are also expected to stay dry. With no rain warning for these areas, people will get relief. Some places may feel cool in the morning, while the afternoon heat may be felt as temperatures climb.

In Western Maharashtra, the forecast makes it clear that rain is unlikely on November 6 in Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur and Solapur districts. The ghat areas of Pune, Satara and Kolhapur may also stay dry. Conditions may be favourable for farm work, travel and daily activity. Even so, humidity cannot be ruled out in the afternoon as temperatures rise.

Dry weather is forecast in all eight districts of Marathwada: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur and Dharashiv. No alert for rain or thunderstorm rain has been issued for these districts. Rain is unlikely in Marathwada for now, and people will only need to watch the temperature swings.

There is no rain warning in Vidarbha either. The weather may stay dry in the 11 districts of Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, Washim, Yavatmal, Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli. The weather department has issued no alert for rain or thunderstorm with rain for these districts.

Overall, dry weather is forecast on November 6 in all five regions: Konkan, North Maharashtra, Western Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. The chances of rain have fallen as the effect of Bay of Bengal cyclones has diminished. However, temperature swings may continue in the state. In this changing weather of cool mornings and warm afternoons, people should take care of themselves. To follow further district-wise changes, it will be important to watch the IMD's official forecast.
