Actress Narayani Shastri, who played Salu in 'Pak Pak Pakak', posted a video with photographs of the late actor and a note on what he meant to her.

Veteran actor Nana Patekar's death has brought grief from his admirers and from many artistes in the entertainment world. Many people were shaken by his passing. Narayani Shastri, who played Salu in his well-known film 'Pak Pak Pakak', has now shared an emotional video on social media, five days after his death.

The video she posted carries some photographs of her with Patekar. Along with it, she wrote about her feelings for him. Shastri said it is not easy to speak or write about Patekar. Her words reflect her respect for him and the emotional bond she shared with him.

"He left us a few days ago. So it is not at all easy to write about him. It is very difficult to speak about him, because it is a deeply personal feeling," Shastri said.

Praising Patekar's acting, Shastri also spoke of his humanity. She said the world knows what a great actor he was, but he was special to her as a person too.

She went on to say, "What can I say about Nana? The world knows what a great actor Nana is. As a person, I liked him very much. He was honest, loving, and the finest human being among the people I know."

Patekar and Shastri worked together in the film 'Pak Pak Pakak'. Shastri's portrayal of Salu in the film stayed with audiences, and the pair also drew attention because of it.
