The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Nagpur Rural has started a new registration series, 'DN', for two-wheelers. The series came into effect on October 19. The earlier 'DM' series has run out, with all numbers up to 9999 already used.
Those who want a fancy or preferred number for their two-wheeler can contact the Nagpur Rural Regional Transport Office directly. They can also apply online on the transport department's fancy number portal, fancy.parivahan.gov.in.
Regional Transport Officer Vijay Chavan has appealed to people in rural areas to take advantage of the new 'DN' series. He said a registration number of one's choice can be obtained by completing the necessary formalities.
The new series will give two-wheeler owners the chance to get their preferred registration number through the prescribed procedure.
