The incident took place around 5 am on Saturday, September 19. Sonali Narzeth Mirchi was taking her 58 year old mother, Sushila Mirchi, to hospital for dialysis. The two were riding a scooter from Vasai Fort jetty towards Naigaon when the accident occurred near the dargah on Pale Road.
