'Kon Honar Crorepati', considered the biggest show in Marathi, is returning in a new avatar. For the first time, the entire responsibility for the show has been given to an actress: Madhuri Dixit, the "Dhak Dhak Girl" who has won a place in the hearts of millions of fans. The show will reach viewers from October 12, with Madhuri as host.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wished Madhuri Dixit well for this new journey. Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre will appear as a guest in the very first episode. Viewers are eager to see the two actresses on the same stage.
Madhuri and Sonali have done many films over the years, but the two have never worked together or shared the screen. Both of them regret this.
On the set, Sonali Bendre said, "I just love her! I like everything Madhuri ji does. I am truly a big fan of hers. The best thing for me is that Madhuri ma'am's younger son and my son are in the same school and the same class. So we always meet at school as parents. But now, meeting on the KBC set will make more lovely memories."
To this, Madhuri said, "Sonali and I have truly not worked together until today. But it is not too late yet. Today the two of us have come together on this stage, and this moment gives me great joy."
Sonali then made a direct request to writers and directors. She said, "We meet at school but have never come together on screen. I am a huge fan of Madhuri ji's acting and her dancing. If any writer or director is watching us, please write a script for the two of us. I would love to work with Madhuri ji."
The show, which begins on October 12, will not have only questions and answers but also several special episodes. With Madhuri as host, viewers will see more dance, fun and emotional moments on the show.
The episode with Sonali Bendre is set to be a treat for viewers. The two actresses are coming onto one stage for the first time. They have made an open offer to directors: someone should create a script for them, as both would love to work together. It will be worth watching which director responds to this open offer.
