Israeli Consul General, Dhankhar to attend RSS Vijayadashami event in Nagpur on October 20

Israel's Consul General in Mumbai, Yaniv Revach, and former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend the Vijayadashami celebration of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event will be held in Nagpur on October 20, 2026, and both have been invited as guests.

The programme is scheduled at the Reshimbagh ground and is part of the concluding ceremony of the RSS centenary year. It is set to begin at 7.40 am.

Sanjay Gupta, editor-in-chief of Dainik Jagran, will be the chief guest, while RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will address the gathering.

The annual Vijayadashami celebration holds special significance for the RSS, which was founded in Nagpur in 1925. The 2026 event marks the conclusion of the organisation's centenary celebrations.

Dhankhar's presence is also notable because he resigned as Vice-President in July 2025. His appearance at the Nagpur event is expected to draw attention.

RSS office-bearers, invited dignitaries and swayamsevaks will gather together at the organisation's annual Vijayadashami programme.
