Rahul Tripathi made 32 off 12 balls, with three sixes and three fours. Nitish Rana was not out on 10 off four balls and Rahul Tewatia not out on 16 off five balls. Krunal Pandya was named Player of the Match.

Twelve teams are taking part in the tournament, and India have been placed in Group C. They had lost to Pakistan by four wickets in the first match, to the UAE by six wickets in the second and to England by three wickets in the third. After Sunday's win over Bangladesh, India are 11th in the standings.

The Indian squad is full of players who have played international cricket, yet the team's performance so far has not been as good as expected. After the loss to arch-rivals Pakistan, questions are being raised about the team's preparation for the tournament.
