Navratri celebrations began in Wardha district on 11/10/2026. During this period, devotees throng the major towns of the district for darshan. Devotees come to the towns from rural areas as well as from neighbouring districts. If heavy vehicles, buses and travels buses enter the towns at such a time, traffic jams could inconvenience devotees. Accidents could also occur and raise a law and order problem.

To spare citizens and devotees the trouble of congestion, to prevent serious or fatal accidents and to ensure that no untoward incident takes place, Wardha Superintendent of Police Saurabhkumar Agrawal has issued a notification. It has been in force since 16/10/2026. Heavy vehicles are barred from entering the towns and traffic has been diverted to alternative routes.

Devotees coming from outside for darshan must not park vehicles anywhere on the road between Arvinaka Chowk and Bajaj Chowk.
