boAt launches six Aavante soundbars ahead of Diwali, priced from Rs 8,999 to Rs 30,000

As Diwali nears, many households are thinking of buying a new television, but even at full volume a TV does not sound like a theatre. Home theatre systems need plenty of space and a tangle of wires, which makes a soundbar the easier option. boAt has launched six new soundbars under the Aavante name across different budgets.

The boAt Aavante Bar Prime Thunder-D is a 600W 5.2-channel soundbar with one large bar, two large subwoofers and two small rear speakers. It has Dolby Audio, Movie, Music and News modes, and Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI ARC, USB and AUX connections. It is priced at around Rs 11,000 to Rs 12,000.

The boAt Aavante Bar Prime DA600 also has 600W, two subwoofers and two rear speakers, but adds Dolby Atmos, so sound seems to come from above as well. Its subwoofers have a wood-look design. It is priced at Rs 15,000 to Rs 19,000 and is available on Flipkart and boAt's website.

The boAt Aavante Bar Prime B450 is aimed at buyers on a tighter budget. It is a 450W 5.2-channel model with two subwoofers and two rear speakers, and has Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI and Optical connections. It costs Rs 11,999 and is available on Amazon.

The boAt Aavante Prime 5000D is described as the best-selling of the six. It is a 500W 5.1-channel soundbar with one subwoofer and two rear speakers, Dolby Audio, a slim build, wall-mounting and a remote. It is priced at Rs 9,999 to Rs 10,999.

The boAt Aavante Prime X is the costliest and heaviest in the list, with 700W output and 7.1.4 channels, and Dolby Atmos. Its rear speakers and subwoofer are fully wireless, and the rear speakers run on batteries for 12 hours at 60 per cent volume. It is priced at Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.

The boAt Aavante Bar Prime B500 is described as the best option at around Rs 10,000. It is a 500W 5.1-channel soundbar with one subwoofer and two rear speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 and HDMI. It is priced at Rs 8,999 to Rs 9,999 and suits small rooms and first-time soundbar buyers.
