Mumbai: boAt, counted among India's well-known consumer lifestyle-tech brands, announced the launch of its Apex power bank series today. The company continues to expand its consumer-tech portfolio beyond audio, and the launch strengthens its presence in the charging solutions category.
Personal audio products remain the foundation of boAt. The brand has, however, gradually moved into adjacent consumer technology categories such as wearables, projectors, personal grooming and charging solutions. The expansion shows that boAt wants to build a more diverse consumer technology portfolio, centred on how customers connect, work, travel and enjoy entertainment.
Charging solutions are emerging as an important part of this journey. Customers use more than one connected device through the day, so reliable and convenient power supply has become an essential part of the everyday technology experience. With the Apex series, boAt has not looked at the category through the lens of a single product. Keeping customers' varied needs in mind, it has built a distinct charging portfolio.
Based on the concept "Power That You Can Bank On", the new Apex series includes four models: Apex PB400, Apex PB400 Pro, Apex PB445 and Apex PB332 MagnaCharge. They are designed for daily commutes, working days, travel, entertainment and lifestyles involving several devices at once.
The Apex PB445 and Apex PB332 MagnaCharge lead the portfolio as flagship models. The PB445 has a 20,000mAh capacity and 45W two-way turbo fast charging. The PB332 MagnaCharge offers 15W magnetic wireless charging, 22.5W two-way wired fast charging and an in-built foldable stand.
boAt CEO Gaurav Nayyar said, "Our aim is to make boAt a consumer technology brand that is useful in as many moments of the customer's day as possible. Charging solutions that connect the devices people depend on for work, travel and entertainment are a natural part of this journey. As we expand our portfolio beyond audio, the Apex series brings together practical innovation and thoughtful design."
With the four Apex models, the company has put new options before customers who charge smartphones and other devices.
