BJP's Sudhakar Kohle says education, health and jobs will be focus in Nagpur graduates' poll
BJP's official candidate for the Legislative Council's Nagpur graduates' constituency says he will prioritise skilled education, health and employment, and expects to win by over 25,000 votes.

Sudhakar Kohle, the BJP's official candidate in the Legislative Council election from the Nagpur graduates' constituency, has said he will make good education, skill-based education, health and employment his priorities. Kohle said he would try to ensure that students get skilled education that meets the demands of the times.
According to Kohle, the vision of making Nagpur an education hub belongs to his leaders, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He said that in recent years, major international-level educational institutions, including Triple IT, IIM and Symbiosis, have come to Nagpur.
Kohle said industries from various sectors, including IT, are steadily being established, which has created job opportunities. He said manpower needs to be prepared according to industry demand, and his priority would be to prepare students accordingly. Speaking about Nagpur University, he said there have been many positive changes, but a lot remains to be changed.
Speaking about his preparations, Kohle said he has been working in the graduates' constituency for the past year. He said he has visited the 61 tehsils and 158 mandals across all six districts at least five times. He said the BJP, with the help of all its workers, has also got a large number of graduate voters registered this time.
The total number of voters is over 2.53 lakh. Of these, over 1.40 lakh are registered in Nagpur city and district and over 1.10 lakh in the other five districts.
Kohle expressed confidence that his deep public outreach and relationships would certainly help him. He said the party had made a humble worker a corporator, then city and district president, and also gave him the chance to become an MLA. In his words, he will make every effort to live up to the trust placed in him this time too.
In the previous election, Congress candidate Abhijit Wanjari defeated BJP candidate Sandip Joshi by more than 18,000 votes. Kohle claimed he would win this election by at least more than 25,000 votes. He also said he is a teacher and is receiving ample support and affection from teachers in this election.
Asked whether Anil Sole, who rebelled against the BJP and filed a nomination form, staying in the fray would hurt him, Kohle said Sole sir is his guru, mentor and a senior leader. He said Sole had taught him and he was fully confident that he would get sir's blessings.
On Sole not withdrawing his name, Kohle said it was a matter for the party and he did not wish to say anything on it. He said he would tour intensively for as many days as are available for campaigning and seek the blessings of all voters.
