BJP councillor accuses Sena of misusing containers in Bhayandar; video goes viral

Politics has heated up over Shiv Sena containers in the Sonal Park area of Bhayandar East. The containers have been placed on a private plot. BJP councillor Tarun Sharma has alleged that containers brought for social work are being used for other purposes.

It is claimed that one container was found filled with decoration material, while the obscene acts of some youths were caught on camera in another. After a video of the matter went viral on social media, it is being widely discussed in the area.

The containers were reportedly provided by the Shiv Sena to serve citizens. However, to escape action by the municipal corporation, they were moved from their earlier location and placed on a private plot in Sonal Park. The allegation now is that they are being used not for social work but entirely for private and suspicious purposes.

According to information given by Sharma, one container is being used to store decoration material for weddings and other events. The owner of the plot is said to be paid a rent of Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 for this. More serious, he said, is that a video of a boy and a girl engaged in obscene acts in another container is spreading on social media like wildfire.

Sharma said angrily, "If a container brought for serving the people is being misused like this, it is highly condemnable."

The containers in dispute carry the official Shiv Sena banner, which also shows pictures of the late Hindu Hridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray and the late Dharmaveer Anand Dighe. Shiv Sena supporters are also angry that material bearing the images of these senior leaders is being misused in this way.

Councillor Sharma has submitted a written demand to Navghar police station. He has asked the police to investigate the whole matter strictly, take stringent legal action against the guilty, and have the disputed containers removed from the Sonal Park area immediately.

No official response has so far come from local Shiv Sena leaders on the matter. The city is now watching what stand the Shiv Sena takes and how it answers the charges from its opponents.
