Actor Mahalakshmi answers trolls with post on her Tirupati love story with Ravindar Chandrasekaran

South actor Mahalakshmi Shankaran and her husband, producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran, are in the news once again. Four years after their wedding, Mahalakshmi has put up a social media post telling the story of their relationship and replying to those who have kept trolling the couple.

In her Instagram post, Mahalakshmi wrote, "It all began in Tirupati. Our life, our journey and a new beginning started from this very place."

On love, she wrote that how others view their relationship, what they say or how they comment cannot be called love. According to her, real love is what the two feel about each other, how much they care for each other and how they keep each other safe. Through the post, Mahalakshmi has replied to the trolls without naming anyone.

The two first met on the set of a film. Ravindar was the film's producer and Mahalakshmi was acting in it. Working together, they became friends, and the friendship grew into love. Ravindar had said in an interview that the two were in a relationship for about a year and a half before the wedding.

They married in Tirupati on September 1, 2022, in the presence of family members and close friends. Pictures of the wedding went viral on social media, and the couple has remained a talking point since.

It is the second marriage for both. Mahalakshmi's first marriage was to Anil Kumar, and she has a son. Differences arose between them some years later, and they divorced in 2019.

When the wedding pictures surfaced in 2022, reactions on social media were mixed. Some people congratulated the couple, while others alleged that Mahalakshmi had married for money. She was also trolled heavily over Ravindar's weight.

The age gap between the two was also widely discussed. It was said that Ravindar was 52 and Mahalakshmi 32 at the time of the wedding. The couple had denied the claim and clarified that the difference in their ages is only six years.

Mahalakshmi has objected earlier too to the criticism of Ravindar's looks or weight. Ignoring the trolling, she has always stood by her husband. In the new post as well, she has stressed that love, trust and care for each other matter most in a relationship.
