Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 24th instalment on October 30, with Rs 2,000 going to each eligible farmer's account, including 2,44,796 in Chandrapur district.

The 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be given to eligible farmers on Friday, October 30, 2026. The amount will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. An online event will be held from Banaskantha in Gujarat, and through it Rs 2,000 will be credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers across the country by direct benefit transfer (DBT).

In Chandrapur district, 2,44,796 eligible farmers are to benefit from this instalment. About Rs 48.95 crore (Rs 48 crore 95 lakh 92 thousand) is planned to be distributed in all.

The Centre launched the scheme on December 1, 2018, to give farmers financial support. Eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, or Rs 6,000 a year, paid directly into their bank accounts. The 24th instalment, for the period between August and November 2026, will be given on October 30.

On the occasion, October 30 will be observed as "PM Kisan Utsav Diwas". The district's main event has been organised at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sindewahi, where the Prime Minister's distribution ceremony will be shown live. The event will also be telecast live at all tehsil and gram panchayat levels in the district. Farmers can also watch it on the website https://pmindiawebcast.nic.in.

To benefit from the PM-Kisan scheme, registered farmers must have completed e-KYC on the PM-Kisan portal. Their bank accounts must also be linked to Aadhaar and enabled for DBT, and verification of land records (land seeding) must be complete. The agriculture department has appealed to farmers who have not yet done these things to complete them.

At the PM Kisan Utsav Diwas event, farmers will be informed about various Central and state government farming schemes. At the village level and through Common Service Centres (CSC), special arrangements will be made for registering Farmer IDs under the AgriStack scheme, e-KYC of eligible farmers and other necessary work.

The district administration and the agriculture department have appealed to as many farmers as possible to take part in the October 30 "PM Kisan Utsav Diwas" event, learn about Central and state farming schemes, register for Farmer IDs under AgriStack and complete the processes required for the PM-Kisan scheme.
