Bajaj Auto has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.60 lakh in Delhi, with new features and 1 bhp more power.
Bajaj Auto has officially launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has not made a major change to the bike's looks. Instead, it has put more emphasis on features, riding technology and performance. The update could matter to young buyers who like sporty motorcycles.
The biggest change in this model is the electronic throttle body (ETB). The technology brings features such as riding modes, traction control and a quickshifter to the bike. These can help improve control while riding and change the riding experience to suit different conditions.
The bike now gets a new 5-inch TFT screen. It supports Google Maps mirroring, making navigation easier to view. The bike also gets adjustable levers, a panic brake alert, a USB Type-C charging port and a hazard switch.
There are hardware changes as well. The earlier 33 mm USD front forks have been replaced by thicker 37 mm forks. At the rear, the bike has a 130/70-R17 radial tyre. These changes could help improve stability and the riding experience.
There is no major change to the engine, but power output has gone up. The 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine now produces 25.1 bhp. The previous model made 24.1 bhp, so the new model has nearly 1 bhp more. The engine continues to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer of Bajaj Auto's two-wheeler business, said power alone is not enough in a Pulsar, and that it is also important to be able to use it smoothly and with confidence. The Pulsar NS series currently includes the NS125, NS160, NS200 and NS400Z. As the Pulsar brand marks 25 years in India, the NS200 update could further strengthen the company's presence in the sporty motorcycle segment.
