Which board will CP Goenka's Wagholi campus offer? Parents urged to ask before admission

The school's own pages list different boards for the Wagholi campus, so parents should get the board, grade and subject pathway in writing before paying.
CP Goenka International School has a campus in Wagholi, in east Pune. It may come up for parents choosing between international and mainstream schools. The school describes itself as an international school. It offers Cambridge/IGCSE and also a CBSE pathway. Its current material also mentions Cambridge and ICSE options, but these belong to the CP Goenka school network as a whole.
The first question for parents is not whether the school is international. It is which curriculum and pathway a child will actually follow at the Wagholi campus. CP Goenka has several campuses, and not every curriculum is available at each. The group's current admission information names the Oshiwara campus as the one with the IB Diploma Programme, while the Pune Wagholi campus is listed with IGCSE, Cambridge, CBSE and ICSE.
The school's address is Gate No. 1347/I, Ubale Nagar, Wagholi, Pune 412207. It is a co-educational day school with English as the medium of instruction. The current principal is Rashmi Gupta. The school's international page lists CIE/IGCSE and A Level for the Wagholi campus, along with "CBSE Proposed". The group's new 2026-27 admission page, however, lists the same campus with IGCSE, Cambridge, CBSE and ICSE for children from nursery to Grade 12. Parents should therefore confirm the board status directly with the school. Choosing between CBSE and Cambridge is an entirely different decision.
The school says its teaching is child-centred and hands-on. It says it emphasises digital learning, robotics, coding, an innovation lab, a science lab, an e-library, sports, art, communication and leadership. Its motto is "Personality over Percentage". Classrooms are described as having audio-visual systems, tablets and projector screens. The school also says the campus has a counselling cell. These are the school's own stated aims and claims.
The admission process involves an online enquiry, the form fee, filling in the form, submitting documents, a conversation with an admission counsellor, confirmation, and then payment of the admission fee and the first instalment. The application form fee is Rs 750. The admission office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admissions for 2026-27 are open.
Fees call for more caution. Outside websites give differing figures. One listing puts the 2026-27 annual fee at roughly Rs 1.1 lakh to Rs 2.3 lakh, while another source gives considerably higher figures. The school's admission page does not carry a clear grade-wise fee table. Parents should not treat outside estimates as the school's official fees.
A bus service is available, and the group's 2026-27 material lists routes in areas such as Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar and Hadapsar. The school's current recruitment page advertises teaching posts for those with Cambridge/IGCSE and Cambridge/CBSE experience.
Parents are advised to get the board, grade and subject pathway in writing before paying any money. They should also ask for a written fee sheet, and for details of transport routes and fees, the counsellor and safety arrangements.
