Mumbai again had light cloud cover on Monday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a partly cloudy sky for the city and suburbs, and said light rain is possible in some places.

The daytime temperature is currently around 33 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature at both of the city's weather stations was recorded above normal.

On air quality, Mumbai's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) on Monday morning was 81. The figures are based on data provided for the Central Pollution Control Board's SAMEER app.

Under the national AQI categories, a level between 51 and 100 is considered satisfactory, while 101 to 200 falls in the moderate category. The citywide figure therefore stayed in the satisfactory range.
