YouTuber Saurabh Joshi's dare video, wife drinking from dog's bowl, draws user anger

YouTuber Saurabh Joshi has posted a new video on his YouTube channel, and it has drawn wide discussion on social media. In the video, Joshi is seen offering his wife water in a dog's bowl, and his wife, Avantika Bhatt, goes on to drink the water from the bowl.

The couple were married a few months ago, and Avantika is a chartered accountant (CA) by profession. Users have objected that Avantika, who holds such a senior professional position, is drinking water from a dog's bowl for YouTube content, or that her husband is making her do it. They say that after so much education, doing such a thing merely for content does not seem right.

In the video, some family members are playing a game. Everyone is sitting on the floor in a circle. A bottle is spun in the middle, and the others give a dare to the person the bottle's mouth points at when it stops. This time the bottle stopped at Avantika, so the dare fell to her.

Joshi was the one who gave her the dare. He asked her to drink water from the bowl of their pet dog, Oreo. Avantika hesitated at first, but soon agreed to complete the dare. The video then shows her drinking water from the dog's bowl.

Users have reacted angrily to the video, and Joshi is once again being criticised in comments. They say such behaviour towards a wife is wrong and that Joshi did it only for content. The video has been shared on Joshi's official YouTube channel as well as on several other social media accounts.
