Yavatmal district has for the first time passed three adoption orders under the Adoption Regulations 2022, giving three children a family and long-waiting adoptive parents their wish.

Three adoption orders have been passed in Yavatmal district for the first time. The process was completed under the Adoption Regulations 2022, implemented by the Women and Child Development Department. Three children have thereby received love, affection, security and a family of their own.

The adoptive parents, who had waited many years to adopt a child, have also seen their dream of parenthood come true.

The passing of the three orders has strengthened the administration's efforts to implement the adoption process effectively. The District Child Protection Unit has been working continuously to protect children's rights, safeguard their best interests and secure a safe family environment for them.

Adoption is not merely a legal process. It is a sensitive social process that gives children a loving family, a safe environment and a bright future. In all three adoption cases in Yavatmal district, the children's best interests were given the highest priority.

The necessary legal provisions were met, documents were verified and the procedures at various levels were completed. The entire adoption process was thus carried out transparently and in accordance with the rules.

District Collector Vikas Meena passed the adoption orders, giving final approval to this sensitive process. Under his guidance, the district's child justice machinery and the District Child Protection Unit played an important role.

Meena has appealed to eligible couples who wish to adopt a child. He said they should not seek the help of any unauthorised person or middleman when adopting, and should choose only the official and legal adoption route.

The Women and Child Development Department has said that those wanting more information should contact the District Child Protection Unit. The unit is on the second floor of the administrative building of the Collector's office in Yavatmal.
