The Indian cricket team is set to return to action in ODI cricket. The West Indies team is currently on a tour of India, and the two sides will play a three-match ODI series. Immediately after the ODI series, the same two teams will also play a separate T20 International series. Shubman Gill continues to lead the Indian team, with no change in captaincy.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will once again be seen playing together in this ODI series. The duo will return to ODI cricket after the series against England. Since they will be playing in India this time, excitement among fans has grown considerably.

The three-match ODI series between India and West Indies will begin on September 27. The first match of the series will be played in Thiruvananthapuram. The squad for the series has already been announced, and the Indian team will soon take the field for preparations. The second match of the series will be held on Wednesday, September 30 in Guwahati, while the third and final match will be played on Saturday, October 3 in New Chandigarh. The entire three-match series will thus be completed in just six days.

During the same period, the Indian team will also be participating in the Asian Games, so there will not be major changes to the squad for the ODI series against West Indies. The Asian Games will be held in the T20 format, where Shreyas Iyer will lead the team. However, the team will have returned from Japan by the time the T20 series against West Indies begins, so there will be no scheduling clash between the two events.

India's ODI squad is as follows: Shubman Gill (captain), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (vice-captain), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Akib Nabi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Naman Dhir.

West Indies' ODI squad is as follows: Shai Hope (captain), Jewel Andrew, John Campbell, Keacy Carty, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Justin Greaves, Amir Jangoo, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Vittel Loge, Gudakesh Motie, Keemo Paul, Sherfane Rutherford, Jayden Seales.
