The Indian electric two-wheeler maker showed the maxi-scooter, built for the European market, with a 6 kWh battery, 20 hp peak power and Hypersense Radar.
Indian electric two-wheeler maker Ultraviolette has unveiled its new electric maxi-scooter, the Ultraviolette Tesseract Maxi, at EICMA 2026. The scooter has been developed for the European market. It has a 6 kWh battery and delivers 20 hp of peak power, and it comes with Hypersense Radar technology. The company has designed it for daily city commuting as well as long-distance riding.
The scooter's key feature is the Hypersense Radar system, which lets the rider keep track of surrounding traffic. It offers Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Overtaking Assist and real-time Collision Alerts. The scooter also has an integrated dashcam and Omnisense mirrors. The mirrors carry multicolour LED indicators, which let the rider easily make sense of information about nearby vehicles.
The Tesseract Maxi has a 6 kWh battery pack and generates 20 hp of peak power. The company claims that with fast charging the battery reaches 80 per cent in under an hour. This could make it useful for daily commuters as well as riders covering long distances. The scooter has 14-inch wheels and an aerodynamic body structure.
For rider safety, traction control and regenerative braking are provided. Under the seat is 32 litres of storage space, which could make it easy to carry a helmet and everyday items. For longer journeys, the company will also offer accessories such as a touring visor, knuckle guards, a tail bag and a pannier stage.
On the technology side, the scooter has a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display. At the same EICMA 2026, Ultraviolette also showed the Violette AI concept in partnership with SoundHound AI. It will make it possible to start navigation, change riding modes, run pre-ride checks and get service information by voice command. The Tesseract Maxi is thus not just an electric scooter but also an example of connected riding technology.
The company has not yet given any information about the scooter's launch or price in India.
