Sudden blast during cremation caught on camera, video goes viral
A loud explosion during a cremation at a crematorium was filmed by bystanders and has gone viral, with no one hurt
A video from a crematorium has gone viral on social media after a loud explosion occurred while a body was being cremated.
The video shows a body burning on a pyre under a shed, with smoke rising from it. Within moments, a loud explosion takes place at the pyre. Some people present at the time captured the entire scene on camera, and the video is now being shared widely online. No one was standing near the pyre at the time, so no one was injured in the explosion.
The question now is whether the explosion during the cremation was some kind of miracle or has a scientific explanation. According to experts, if an item containing air or gas is placed near the body while arranging the pyre, it can burst due to the intense heat. Air can also often get trapped inside bamboo or wood used for the pyre. When this trapped air turns to vapour from the heat of the flames, the pressure inside builds up sharply, causing an explosion. Excess ghee, camphor or other flammable material placed on the pyre can also cause the fire to flare up suddenly, creating an effect that looks like an explosion.
The video was shared from an Instagram account named @kati_kappari. Several users commented after watching it. One user wrote, "He went out with a bang." Another wrote, "Oh my god, I have never seen anything like this happen before." Another user wrote that many people might think the skull would have burst, but the explosion had occurred in the middle of the pyre.
