Sooraj Barjatya's Yeh Prem Mol Liya releases rain song Sawan Aaya Hai with Ayushmann, Sharvari

A new song, "Sawan Aaya Hai", from director Sooraj R. Barjatya's upcoming film "Yeh Prem Mol Liya" has been released. The song features the pairing of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, and its entire story is woven around the atmosphere of rain.

The relationship between rain and love has always been special in Hindi films. Barjatya has a mastery of blending the two feelings on screen. Whether it is "Yeh Mausam Ka Jadu Hai Mitwa" from "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" or the rain scenes of "Mhare Hiwda Mein Nache Mor" from "Hum Saath-Saath Hain", music and romance have always had a special place in his films. With "Sawan Aaya Hai", he is once again bringing the magic of love and rain to audiences.

Shot on Khurrana and Sharvari, the song conveys the feeling of love blossoming against a backdrop of rain. The two are seen spending time together in the rain. Their glances, faint smiles and attraction to each other recall the romantic style of older Hindi films. In this song, love is expressed through glances and small moments more than through words.

The song is set against the backdrop of Diwali week. It also shows the joy of a family gathered for festival preparations and cleaning the house. Along with the romantic moments, the song therefore offers a glimpse of a family atmosphere.

The music for the song is by Himesh Reshammiya. It is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Keshav Anand, and the lyrics are by Mayur Puri. The song combines Ghoshal's soulful voice with Reshammiya's melodious music. It attempts to carry forward the tradition of evergreen romantic songs of Hindi cinema.

"Yeh Prem Mol Liya" will release on November 27. Barjatya is once again meeting audiences in his characteristic family and romantic style. The new pairing of Khurrana and Sharvari will offer a glimpse of its love story on the big screen. The film also has Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Krish Rao and Ashnoor Kaur in important roles.
