In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she narrated the whole episode. She said, "Rhea and I had worked together in Sonali Cable. She knew I practise pranic healing, so she messaged me. The three of us met. We spoke about his coming to the ashram. But that same night I got a message from Rhea that Sushant's health was worsening. That meeting never happened."

Saying that Rhea's message came while he was being treated at Hinduja Hospital, Jaykar said, "I went and met him immediately. Sushant spoke to me and asked after me. His mood was good. We talked about when he could come to the ashram for healing treatment, but that meeting never took place."

Thus Rhea, Sushant and Smita Jaykar had met at the hospital. According to her account, Sushant's mood was good during that meeting, and they had also spoken about his coming to the ashram later.

Jaykar further said, "Sushant is a great actor. When we met, I hugged him tightly. He felt better seeing me. He asked after me. He did good work."
