Shiv Sena worker Lalit Kasat gives Rs 21,000 to Marda farmer's family on his birthday

A farmer's family in Marda village in the Chandrapur assembly constituency has been given financial assistance of Rs 21,000. Shiv Sena worker Lalit Kasat gave the money on the occasion of his birthday. He set aside the expenses that would have gone into the birthday and put the same amount in the hands of the needy family.

A farmer from this family in Marda had taken his own life, distressed by difficulties in farming. The sudden incident brought great grief on the family. The main support of the household was gone, and the family fell into financial hardship.

Seeing this difficult hour, Kasat took the initiative. His thinking was that the family should find some solace and also get some financial support. In this spirit, a sum of Rs 21,000 was handed to the family on behalf of the "Lalit Kasat Parivar".

Kasat said a birthday is not only a day to celebrate one's own happiness. According to him, it is an occasion to share in the sorrow of people in society who are needy and in distress, and to extend a helping hand to them. He said this small effort was made in keeping with a sense of responsibility towards society and humanity.

A prayer was also offered on the occasion that the family find the strength to recover from this grief and find a way out of this difficult time.

Kasat is being widely praised for skipping unnecessary birthday expenses and standing with needy families in distress. The birthday was thus marked with sensitivity, and direct help reached an afflicted family.
