Royal Enfield sold 2,67,400 bikes in September and October, its biggest festive-season figure, with October exports up 47% on a year earlier.
This festive season was Royal Enfield's biggest so far. The company sold a total of 2,67,400 motorcycles in September and October, the highest festive-sale figure in its history. The response to bikes such as the Classic 350 and the Himalayan 440 played a key part in the result.
In October 2026 alone, the company sold 1,33,442 motorcycles, against 1,24,951 units in October 2025. Total sales rose 7% year-on-year.
In the domestic market, the company sold 1,21,527 bikes in October 2026, compared with 1,16,844 in the same month last year, a rise of 4%. Exports grew faster. The company shipped 11,915 bikes abroad in October, against 8,107 a year earlier, an increase of 47%.
Between April and October 2026, Royal Enfield sold a total of 8,42,538 bikes, compared with 7,16,854 units in the same period of the previous financial year. Total sales grew 18% this year. Domestic sales rose 20% to 7,63,548 units. Exports also increased, reaching 78,990 units.
The Hypershift variant of the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition also drew a strong response. Only 125 units were allotted for India, and the entire list sold out in just 6 minutes. The bike comes with paint that shifts between red, green and gold, special badging and hand-painted pinstripes.
The company has also made moves in electric bikes. Its Flying Flea electric mobility business expanded in Hyderabad and Pune. In Hyderabad, 1 store and 3 additional outlets opened, while 10 sales and service centres were added in Pune. The company has also announced support of more than Rs 3 crore for snow leopard conservation.
Motorcycle enthusiasts are now looking to Motoverse 2026 in November, where the Himalayan 750 is due to be launched in India. After the festive-sales success, the event is seen as even more important for the company.
