Royal Enfield has teamed up with custom motorcycle brand Deus Ex Machina for a limited edition of the Shotgun 650, with sales likely to begin in 2027.

Royal Enfield has partnered with the custom motorcycle brand Deus Ex Machina. Together they are bringing out a special 'Son Of A Gun' limited edition of the Shotgun 650. Only 100 units of the edition will be built worldwide, and sales are likely to begin in 2027.

The project began with a custom Shotgun 650 that is currently drawing considerable attention. Taking inspiration from this bike, the company will produce 100 units. Each bike will come with a Royal Enfield x Deus Souvenir jacket.

First, the custom bike. Its design is entirely different from the standard model. It has a single brown leather seat, a short tail section, an exposed rear wheel and low-set handlebars. It also gets large alloy wheels, a compact headlamp cowl and a long metal exhaust.

The body is finished in deep red, with cream detailing and gold accents. Royal Enfield and Deus branding is visible on the fuel tank. The custom bike also carries the '1 of 1' identification. The fuel cap reads 'Deus Ex Machina' and 'Custom by Jeremy Tagand'. The engine cover has a piano black finish, which gives the whole design a distinct look.

However, the 100 limited edition bikes to be made for customers will keep the original silhouette of the standard Shotgun 650. They will have the rear mudguard, pillion seat and bodywork of the regular production model. These bikes will come in deep red with Deus branding and special graphics.

The limited edition will use Royal Enfield's 650 twin engine. The jacket supplied with each bike is made of stone-washed satin fabric. It has heritage-style typography, and its inner lining reflects the colour scheme of the bike.

At EICMA 2026, Royal Enfield also gave a glimpse of new models such as the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 alongside this bike.
