Tech company OnePlus is set to bring its new Ace 7 series to market. The company will introduce two new 5G smartphones, the OnePlus Ace 7 and the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. Both phones are said to be launching in China on October 29. Ahead of the launch, the company has announced details of their features.

A recent post says both phones will have a 9,000mAh Glacier battery, along with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phones will also have a dual-airflow cooling system with a built-in fan. The system is meant to keep the phone cool during gaming. The company says it can bring the temperature down by up to 10 degrees Celsius.

On specifications, both smartphones have a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with support for a 185Hz refresh rate. On the processor, the OnePlus Ace 7 will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chipset, while the Ace 7 Pro may get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The Pro model may offer a better camera and photography experience. According to some reports, it will have a 200MP primary camera, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The standard model in the series is expected not to have a periscope telephoto camera.

Both devices will have a bypass charging feature, which allows power to flow directly to the device during gaming. As a result, the battery is spared repeated charging and discharging. It may also help keep heat under control.

The aim behind all this could be to sustain the phone's performance even when the battery level is low and to keep battery health good over the long term. The company appears to have focused on battery, charging and cooling in this series. The features will be tested in reality once both phones launch in China on October 29.
