Smartphone maker Vivo has added another 5G phone to its S-series. The new Vivo S60t has been launched in China for now and is listed on the company's Chinese website. It is positioned in the mid-range segment.
The phone comes in two variants. The 12GB+256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,599, about Rs 43,000. The 12GB+512GB variant costs CNY 3,999, about Rs 48,000. There are three colour options: Starry Sea, Early Summer Green and Midsummer Night. The company has not yet said when the phone will arrive in India or other international markets.
On the display, the phone has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 10-bit colour depth, P3 wide colour gamut and HDR support. The refresh rate goes up to 144Hz, while touch sampling rate during gaming can reach 300Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 94.7 per cent.
For performance, the phone has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. RAM is up to 12GB, with storage options of 256GB and 512GB. It also supports up to 24GB of memory fusion.
The battery is 7,200mAh and supports 90W wired fast charging. Reverse charging is also available over USB Type-C. Despite the large battery, the phone is said to be only 7.79mm to 7.92mm thick.
For photography, there is a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, which also comes with OIS support. The phone supports up to 100x digital zoom. A 50MP autofocus camera handles selfies and video calls.
Both the primary and periscope cameras can record 4K video. The company says the phone will offer features such as 4K live and gimbal-level stabilisation. On software, the phone runs Android 17 based on OriginOS 7.
