NMC fills pothole at Omkar Nagar Square within 24 hours after standing committee chairperson raises it

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has filled a pothole on the road at Omkar Nagar Square within 24 hours. Motorists and pedestrians using the stretch have got relief.

The Omkar Nagar Square area is always crowded, and the pothole had been causing considerable trouble to motorists and passers-by. The broken road also posed a risk of accidents. Standing Committee Chairperson Shivani Dani Wakhare brought the matter to the notice of the civic administration.

Following her intervention, the concerned NMC department acted immediately and completed the work of filling the pothole within a day.

The quick action shows that the everyday urban problems of ordinary people need attention, especially where road safety and the city's basic amenities are concerned. Potholes at busy intersections can become a major hazard for passers-by, and the danger increases during rush hours.

With the problem now resolved, residents of the area and motorists have breathed a sigh of relief. The NMC has also appealed to citizens to report potholes, cleanliness issues and other civic problems to the civic administration so that timely action can be taken.
